Janet began her professional dance career as one of the Miami Heat Dancers. While on the Heat, Janet caught the eye of a well known choreographer called Darrin Henson.
Janet was part of the first Hip-Hop Dance Instructional Video called Darrin's Dance Grooves and assisted him on projects as well as taught all over the nation in his conventions.   Begin part of DDG launched Janet's career working on stage & behind the scenes in music videos, commercials, film, & stage projects.

 

Since then Janet has worked in projects such as the MTV VMAs, Latin Billboards, Latin Grammys, HipHop Source Awards, Vibe Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, American Music Awards. She has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Nsync, Brian Mcknight, Diddy, Mase, Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson, David Bisbal, Olga Tanon, Alejandro Sanz, Usher, & Pitbull to name a few. She had the opportunity to teach & judge in Competitions such as Dance
Educators of America, Starpower, and StarQuest.

Janet opened Jones Talent in 2002, the first agency dedicated to the representation of dancers & choreographers.   Since then Janet has placed dancers on projects that were never available to Miami talent.

Projects such as Shakira Tours & Videos, Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, Madonna, Chayanne, Ashanti, HBO specials, Step It Up 1&2, Bring it on 4, Commercials for IPOD, Apple, Best Buy, Subway, Heineken, Miller Light, Kenneth Cole, Zales, Mcdonalds, Burger King, Bellsouth, Citgo, the Latin Grammys, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, and so much more.
